Graduate Admissions
Prospective students interested in our neuroscience graduate training program should apply through either the Department of Biology or Department of Psychology graduate portal, depending on their primary research interests:
- If your interests align more closely with biological aspects of neuroscience, apply through the Department of Biology portal.
- If your interests are more aligned with psychological and cognitive aspects of neuroscience, apply through the Department of Psychology portal.
In your application, please clearly indicate your interest in the Program in Fundamental Neuroscience (PFN) track.
We understand that research interests may evolve during your graduate studies and our program is designed to be flexible and supportive of your academic journey.
Importantly, regardless of which portal you apply through, all PFN students will experience their core classes together as one cohort. This unified approach ensures a comprehensive and integrated learning experience for all our neuroscience graduate students.
We welcome applicants from diverse academic backgrounds who are passionate about advancing our understanding of the brain and nervous system.
For more information about the PFN graduate track, please contact Christopher Deppmann.
